Yuki Eliot ("I", "me", or "my") developed the X Account Labeler browser extension (the "Extension"). This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Extension.
The Extension processes two categories of data:
a) Local label data (never leaves your device)
The custom labels you create — X/Twitter usernames and your chosen colors — are saved directly to your browser using the chrome.storage.local API. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never sent to any server or third party.
b) Anonymous install and uninstall events
When you install or uninstall the Extension, an anonymous randomly generated ID (UUID) is created and stored locally on your device. This ID is sent to my server (yukieliot.com) solely to record the install or uninstall event for analytics purposes.
This ID:
No browsing history, post content, messages, or any other personal data is ever collected or transmitted.
*://*.x.com/*, *://*.twitter.com/*): Used to identify usernames on your X/Twitter timeline so the Extension can apply your saved color labels. The Extension does not read, log, or transmit post content, messages, or browsing history.https://yukieliot.com/*): Used exclusively to send anonymous install and uninstall events to my own server for analytics purposes.I do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. The anonymous install/uninstall events are logged only on my own server and are not shared with anyone.
Anonymous install and uninstall event logs are retained for analytics purposes and may be deleted periodically. You can request deletion of your anonymous ID's records by contacting me.
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Extension's features or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the Extension, please reach out via yukieliot.com.
