X Post Screenshot Studio is a Chrome extension that helps users create polished screenshots from individual posts on x.com and twitter.com.

Data collection

X Post Screenshot Studio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data to external servers.

The extension processes page content locally in your browser only when you use the extension to create a screenshot from a post.

What the extension stores

The extension stores the following information locally in Chrome storage:

• Your selected screenshot theme preference, such as light or dark mode.
• Your optional watermark text, if you choose to enter one.

This information stays on your device and is used only to remember your preferred extension settings.

Website content

When you create a screenshot, the extension reads visible post content from the active X post page, including text, profile image, timestamps, and visible media when available. This processing happens locally in the browser and is used only to generate the screenshot you requested.

Remote code and external services

The extension does not use remote code and does not send captured post content to external services.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated if the extension behavior changes. Any future update should keep this document aligned with the extension actual permissions and data handling.
